Orlam, is a talented Producer & Remixer from Pretoria, South Africa. Born in Mabopane, Pretoria, Orlam’s love for music was influenced by his uncle and sister, who introduced him to the classics of Soul and R&B from the 80’s and 90’s. This led to a deep appreciation for soulful house music, which was further fueled by the likes of DJ Fresh, DJ Christos, and Vinny Da Vince.

Orlam’s musical journey began in 2004, while he was still in high school, where he discovered his passion for House music. After completing his studies, he joined the Black Juice Entertainment crew in 2006, where he refined his skills and became a resident DJ at Dinoko Park in Mabopane, Pretoria. This marked the beginning of his professional career as a DJ.

In 2010, Orlam’s path crossed with that of DJ Miggs Foreal, who became his mentor and helped him connect with some of the top-ranked DJs across South Africa. This exposure and guidance played a significant role in shaping Orlam’s skills and style as a DJ and producer.

Orlam’s production skills have also led to the compilation of his successful “Urban Life Experience Mix” series. When not in the studio or behind the decks, he can be found exploring the vibrant music scene in Pretoria or soaking up the sounds of his city.

Orlam makes a timely return to VMS for the summer season with the release of his latest track, “I Belong To You.” This dynamic song showcases the talents of Vencer Café and the renowned funk artist Young Molz. Together, they deliver an energetic and uplifting classic that is sure to resonate with audiences.
